Despite our will to celebrate science together with you at a live event, such a large scale gathering still poses too many risks. This is why we’re postponing the Ratio Forum for 2021. All tickets sold for the 2020 event will be automatically valid for the new date. We are still unsure what will be the format or the date for the event but we will inform you as soon as we know.
The upcoming edition of Ratio’s Popular Science Forum will introduce you once again to new, curious scientific fields and facts – all that translated into an everyday language.
For the past 8 years, the Ratio scene has gathered a plethora of international speakers, such as Peter Watts, Christopher French, Maggie Liu, Andrew Berry, Stephen Goldfarb to mention a few.
Throughout the past editions of our popular science forum, we had the opportunity to dive into the volcanoes of Io and go for a drive to the rings of Saturn, we tried to find where the aliens are hiding, found the correlation between maths, dead people and malaria, edited the humankind with CRISP, unravelled the mysteries of our brain. We also went for a mind-blowing visit to a Moon habitat, met with robots (although we are still not sure foes or friends were they) and not least – we were allowed to take a curious look at the extraordinary lives of flies and ants.
This year we promise to outdo ourselves so save the date and be our companion to the next scientific adventure on 13th of June. Tickets are now available!
We would like to inform you that all talks by our international guests will be presented in English and no translation in Bulgarian will be provided.
