The British Embassy in Sofia, British Council in Bulgaria and the UK Science & Innovation Network have the pleasure to invite you to the digital events of UK COVID-19 research campaign. Three interactive talks given by distinguished UK Professors from the “London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine” on 14, 20 and 29 July will deepen your knowledge on COVID-19.On 14 July, 7pm (5pm UK time) Prof. David Heymann, infectious disease epidemiologist and public health expert will talk about what scientists know about SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and lessons learnt how it can be best controlled.
Moderator will be Savina Stoitsova, PhD, epidemiologist strongly involved in COVID-19 work in Bulgaria. She is part of the National Center of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases in Sofia.
