EP30 – Theorems, aesthetics, and codes [w/ Simon Singh]

This episode was recorded live after Simon Singh’s presentation at the Sofia Science Festival. We only had a short time to talk with the physicist/mathematician/author and we ventured straight into:

  • the key qualities in both scientists and artists
  • the reasons why we still need pure science
  • the aesthetics of equations
  • the characteristics of modern cryptography (explained with treasure chests!)
